LochFest 2021: Get involved!

LochFest event returns on July 31, 2021! This annual event is focused on creating awareness to improve the area watershed quality and the environment overall. We are pleased to bring back this event after its brief hiatus in 2020. Especially after keeping responsibly separated due to the pandemic, we’re glad to be able to bring our community together again this year. The event will run from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, and admission will remain at $5 for everyone over the age of 2. There will again be music, games, food, and activities for neighbors of all ages! We hope to release more details and the schedule soon.

This is an event for Loch Lomond residents and their guests only. Only Loch Lomond home owners in good standing with the Association will be able to be admitted, along with their family.

We are currently in the process of planning this year’s event. LochFest only happens because we’ve been fortunate to have so many volunteers and sponsors to help us out. We’ll need volunteers and sponsors again this year!

Volunteer opportunities at LochFest

There are a variety of ways you can help us make LochFest a success. From organizing and preparing for the event in the weeks beforehand to working a shift the day of the event, there are easy ways you can help out. This year, you can dedicate as little as 1 hour during the event to help us out. (Of course, you can always commit more time if you’re able!)

Sponsor opportunities

We know by past contributions that local organizations have a desire to give back to the local community, and we greatly appreciate any support in years past. The support of Mundelein businesses and organizations have helped us to host a successful event for more than 600 homes in the Loch Lomond community.

In recent years, we had incredible attendance at LochFest, and the event is always well-received. We are anticipating another successful showing at this year’s event. Approximately 600 Loch Lomond residents attend LochFest every year while enjoying a variety of games, activities, and food, as well as meeting business owners and environmental experts from Lake County.

This is a great opportunity to promote your business to our community, and we’re continuing to find ways to make your sponsorship a valuable investment.
