- Eagle Scout signage project – Paul
– Paul met with the Eagle Scout (Evan)
- Geese – Tom
-Fencing update – One more fence to build for South Beach
-Geese Away lights – Lights have been deployed around the lake 3. Team updates
-Native Plants – Arlene – native plant garden buffer strip at South Beach -Education – ? – Update on signage for the new Eagle Scout project signs -Monitoring – Doug – Secchi readings team
-Fishing – Mickey and Paul each have a contact to help with fishing lessons -Research – Tom – Long range plan is next up
- Lake management 2023 contract – Tom
-Contract with McCloud Aquatics was approved for spraying for invasive plants and adding planktonic algae treatments as needed. McCloud was out already checking the status of our lake and doing measurements for the biodredging 6. 2023 potential projects
-Floating islands – Tom – 4 floating islands will be here mid May for planting -Aerators – On hold, waiting on Lake County grant application decision -Biodredging – Tom – See contract comments above
-Inlet stabilization – Paul/Eric
- Update of Lake County lakes grant application – Tom
– Lake County decision moved to April
- HAB and lake water test results communication – Tom
– New Communication Team is addressing this
- Adopt a Beach program for South Beach – Tom
- Lake Management Education Kickoff – Tom
– Make a plan for a May kickoff
