Thank you to all who attended SpringFest, our annual egg hunt. We enjoyed the warm weather while kids hurried around collecting eggs as the mischievous bunny scampered about.
So many people assisted in making the event possible. Many hours were spent stuffing eggs. A special thanks to Mundelein High School for their assistance. Kids found pinwheels around to win a special prize.
We learned about Floating Islands and Buffer Strips going in around South Beach. We signed up for the Adopt-A-Beach Program with the Adopt-A-Beach Bunny.
We collected a truckload of items for the Fremont Township Food Pantry.
