Responsibilities:
- Inspections
- Conduct a monthly inspection of dam, path and spillway in accordance with dam maintenance guidelines
- Conduct a yearly inspection and report in accordance with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR); submit said report to the IDNR and management company
- Arrange a triennial (three-year) inspection of the dam and spillway with a certified civil engineer in accordance with the IDNR. specifications and submit said report to IDNR and management company
- Correct any discrepancies found in the above inspection/reports or hire a qualified contractor
- Maintain an Emergency Action Plan in accordance with the I.D.N.R. guidelines
- Have path seal coated every other year
- Attend monthly board meetings and annual meeting in November
- Present a monthly report detailing expenditures and activities
