Loch Lomond Property Owners Association in Mundelein is now accepting applications for SEASONAL LIFEGUARDS! Our guards have a flexible schedule, paid training, great work environment, competitive pay, and referral bonus opportunities.
The role
Lifeguards will supervise the South Beach area to ensure the safety of all beach-goes. Lifeguards will maintain safe and sanitary beach conditions (this includes but is not limited to checking the beach area at regular intervals and making the proper adjustments as assigned by the water safety administrator and adherence to the LLPOA policies and procedure). Additionally, lifeguards will maintain good working relationships with staff members, association members, board of directors, and water safety administrator.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16
- Must have current (or be able to obtain) Lifeguard Certification, ARC Certification preferred, currently certified in First Aid, CPR/AED for the professional rescuer
- Ability to swim in shallow and deep water and tread water
- Ability to recognize and remedy hazardous situations
Environmental Considerations
May be exposed to high humidity and heat conditions outdoors and will be exposed to the varying weather conditions, which could include cold, rain, and extreme heat.
