Seeking guard boat replacement

Can you help? The LLPOA is in search of a jon boat to replace our current guard boat. Using a jon boat (flat-bottomed boat) allows for quick and easy access in and out of the water when compared to a normal V hull style row boat. This is very important in case of an emergency.

The boat has to be big enough and wide enough to hold two lifeguards, the buoys and lines, and the cinder block weights in order to set and take down the buoy lines. In the past we have used a 48 inch wide jon boat because it is lower to the water and provides a stable base to work out of.

Please let us know if you are willing to donate this type of boat to the LLPOA for our lifeguards to use in emergencies! Contact LLPOAboard@lochlomondlake.com.
