Easter Fun in Loch Lomond

In lieu of the traditional Easter egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter, this year the Easter bunny will be driving through the neighborhood the morning of April 3. If you have a kid who would love to see the Easter bunny come by, sign up so we can put your house on the drive-by list! More information will come about timing.

Fire department trainings

Earlier this month, the Mundelein Fire Department conducted a successful ice dive training. This type of lake-specific training makes our entire community safer! Also, as a reminder to residents, when the fire department is training, there are no lights flashing on their trucks. During a true emergency, the truck lights would be flashing. This can help you understand what is going on if you see the fire department on our lake in the future. They will be on our lake again in the spring for more training. Be sure to thank any fire department personnel if you see them!

Calling for 2021 lifeguards!

Swimming season will be upon us before we know it! We need lifeguards in order to continue offering a safe place at South Beach for our residents and their families to swim and play. If you are interested in serving as one of our paid lifeguards for the 2021 swimming season, please email us at swim@lochlomondlake.com.
