The LLPOA Annual Meeting will be held this year on Monday, November 30, 2020, at the Mundelein Fire Department located at 1000 North Midlothian Road in Mundelein as well as virtually. Due to the pandemic, procedures will be slightly modified from past years.
Voting for the purpose of electing the LLPOA Board of Directors will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. at the fire station. If you plan to cast a ballot, please come at some point within that time frame to deliver any proxies in your care, fill out the ballot, and/or submit a comment. Please wear a mask to the outdoor voting table.
After the voting period, the board will hold the November board meeting virtually, followed by quorum establishment and the election announcement. Attendance will be limited to the board and the administrator. Submit any comments in person when you cast your ballot—or prior to the meeting via email, website comment form, or delivery to the Secretary. The recording of the meeting will be available upon adjournment, as well as the minutes. Any proxy received or vote cast before 7 p.m. will count toward the quorum, which is required for the election to take place.
A proxy form should be completed by any owner who will not be voting in person, but would like to assign another owner as their proxy to vote on the Board of Directors ballot. Note that the person to whom you assign your proxy cannot vote one way on your behalf and then vote another way when casting their own ballot. You will want to ensure that the person to whom you assign your proxy will vote as you would.
There is one (1) proxy OR ballot allotted per property. You may assign your household’s proxy to another resident by filling in their name on the form, or you may assign your proxy to the Secretary of LLPOA. If you will not attend the meeting in person, please do assign your proxy so your vote is counted.
