As Loch Lomond residents, we are blessed with a multitude of nature—from the fish harvested from the lake, to the loons that migrate through in early spring, to the eastern wood-pewees who sing their names in the heat of summer from their oak tree nesting spots, and so much more.
This blog hopes to educate and inspire all of us about the nature of Loch Lomond, and why we should work to protect the natural world around us. We invite those with a knowledge of and interest in various aspects of the lake itself as well as the ecology and natural wonders found throughout the neighborhood.
